Simon B. is the co-founder of Flow Trading Academy, an experienced trader and educator with over six years in the financial markets. He is a six-figure funded trader with a proven track record, specialising in order flow and understanding what is actually happening beneath the surface of the market.

Like many traders, Simon's journey involved navigating the challenges of overcomplicating analysis, searching for the perfect strategy and dealing with the psychological pressures that come with trading real capital. His biggest progression came from moving away from traditional indicator-led trading and developing a deeper understanding of order flow and market behaviour.

His approach focuses on reading the interaction between buyers and sellers using professional tools such as Bookmap, Footprint Charts and Volume Profile, allowing him to understand the reasoning behind price movement rather than simply reacting to candlesticks.

Simon is particularly passionate about trading psychology, discipline, risk management and execution. At Flow Trading Academy, his aim is to make technical concepts practical, understandable and applicable to real market conditions.

Wal L. is a professional full-time trader who has been navigating the financial markets since 2019, with experience across stocks, futures, forex and commodities.

Over the years, Wal has studied and tested countless strategies and market philosophies. Ultimately, his edge — and the foundation of his approach to trading — became Order Flow. By studying the mechanics of supply, demand, liquidity and the market auction, rather than relying on lagging indicators, Wal has developed an approach designed around understanding what market participants are actually doing.

Before trading, Wal trained in Mixed Martial Arts. That background taught him the realities of physical and mental adversity and helped forge the discipline, resilience and emotional control he now brings to professional trading.

At Flow Trading Academy, Wal is passionate about helping traders cut through the noise, develop structure and build the mental resilience required for long-term performance.

At 35 years old, Kay S. is a veteran full-time day trader with nearly two decades of experience in the financial markets. Having begun his trading journey at just 17 years old, Kay has developed an exceptional depth of market experience across major macroeconomic shifts and periods of extreme volatility.

Kay specialises in advanced auction market theory and order flow analysis, building his approach around Gamma Levels, TPO, Volume Profile and Footprint Charts. Rather than relying solely on traditional price charts, he focuses on understanding how markets auction, where participants are positioned and how buying and selling activity is developing beneath the surface.

His extensive screen time has shaped a highly technical, data-driven approach to intraday trading. As a dedicated family man, Kay also places enormous value on discipline, patience and balance, creating a trading career that provides both professional fulfilment and freedom outside the markets.
